After our visit to Philips we experienced some German culture. We went to a small city called Esslingen and spent some time visiting the most important sights there as well as enjoying the amazing weather. We had a great view over Esslingen from the castle, where the whole group took a nap to fight the exhaustion that hit us. We went into a few churches and listened to the bell play of the old town hall, where some of us missed the bird flapping its wings. In the evening we had dinner at the Italian restaurant “LaGondola” and grabbed some ice cream before returning back home to Karlsruhe.
